2차 북한 핵 위기 협상과 미국과 북한의 벼랑끝 정책 = The Second North Korean Nuclear Crisis and the U.S's and North Korea's Brinkmanship

What's put into use in the second North Korean Nuclear crisis is brinkmanship that deliberately creates danger to occupy an advantageous position in the negotiation. Discrediting North Korea for breaching the 1994 agreed framework, the Bush administration utilizes brinkmanship to impose CVID on North Korea. Meanwhile, North Korea responses with its own brinkmanship of refusal to participate in talks and willingness to risk a war. The stall between the U.S. and North Korea may lead to a terrible war and provides only a limited window of opportunity for the Roh administration that is looking forward to taking initiative for the stability of the Korean peninsula.
