유치원교사의 사고양식 및 목표지향성이 역할수행에 미치는 영향 = Influence of Thinking Styles, GoalOrientation on Kindergarten Teacher'sRole Performance

Influence of Thinking Styles, Goal Orientation on Kindergarten Teacher's Role PerformanceKim, Mi-Kyung The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of thinking styles, goal orientation on kindergarten teacher's role performance. Subjects of the study were 399 kindergarten teachers in Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas. The measurements used were thinking styles questionnaire short version(Sternberg & Wagner, 1991), goal orientation scale(Lee kyongok, 2002), and kindergarten teacher's role performance rating scale(Cho boo kyong, Saracho, 1997).The data were analyzed using correlational analysis, stepwise multiple regression analysis and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Results of the present study were as follows: First, thinking styles typeⅠ variable was significant in explaining kindergarten teacher's role performance. Second, mastery goal variable was significant in explaining kindergarten teacher's role performance. Third, hierarchical multiple regression analysis indicated that the mastery goal variables was the most powerful predictor among all of the independent variables. thinking styles typeⅠvariable was also found to be the next significant predictor for kindergarten teacher's role performance.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 유치원교사의 사고양식 및 목표지향성이 역할수행에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구의 대상은 대구광역시와 경북의 사립유치원교사 399명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 측정도구는 사고양식척도(Sternberg & Zhang, 2001), 목표지향성 척도(이경옥, 2002), 역할수행척도(조부경, Sacho, 1997)를 사용하였다. 자료처리는 상관관계분석, 단계적 회귀분석, 위계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였으며,연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유치원 교사의 사고양식 중 사고양식typeⅠ이 교사의 역할수행 능력을 유의미하게 설명해주는 변인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유치원 교사의 목표지향성 중 숙달목표성향이 교사의 역할수행능력을 유의미하게 설명해주는 변인으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유치원 교사의 사고양식과 목표지향성이 역할수행능력에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 알아본 결과 역할수행능력을 설명하리라고 기대되었던 4개의 변인들 중에서 숙달목표성향의 설명력이 가장 높았으며, 그 다음으로 사고양식typeⅠ의 순으로 나타났다.
