지욱(智旭)의 <주역선해(周易禪解)>에 나타난 선사상

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중국 명대(明代)의 대표적인 고승이었던 우익 지욱(藕益智旭, 1599~1655)의 주역선해(周易禪解)에 나타난 선사상을 고찰하는 것이 목적이다. 이러한 목적 아래 첫째, 주역선해에 나타난 지욱의 선사상을 내용과 특징을 밝히고자 하였으며, 둘째, 주역선해에 대한 선학과 역학, 양명학 등의 학제적 연계를 통한 공통의 연구 필요성을 제기하고 나아가 지욱의 기타 저술에 대한 연구를 활성화하는데 기여하고자 하였다.
지욱의 주역선해는 선학의 입장에서 주역을 재해석 하고 있으며, 이를 통하여 불교의 교리와 역의 이치가 하나로 회통되고 융합되고 있음을 밝히고 있다. 주역선해는 주역의 원문과 선해(禪解)로 구성되어 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 지욱의 선해를 중점적으로 분석하여 불교사상가인 지욱이 주역에 대하여 어떠한 해석을 하고 있는지를 드러내고자 하였다. 연구된 내용은 본 연구계획과 일치하며, 크게 다섯 가지 내용을 고찰하였다. 첫째, 주역에 대한 새로운 해석을 어떻게 기도하고 있는가? 둘째, 선사상의 표현이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는가? 셋째, 주역과 선학과의 소통을 어떻게 이루어내고 있는가? 넷째, 기타 사상과의 상호 관련성 및 소통은 어떻게 이루어지고 있는가? 다섯째, 지욱의 주역선해가 한국 불교계에 끼친 영향은 무엇인가? 등이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to research the Zen thought based on 『Zhouyichanjie(周易禪解)』 written by Ouyizhixu(藕益智旭), a representative high priest inghe era of Ming and Qing.

Followings are under the purpose of this study.
First, I tried to clarify the contents andd characteristics of Zhixu's Zen thought based on 『Zhouyichanjie(周易禪解)』.
Secondiy, I tried to raise the need of common research on 『Zhouyichanjie(周易禪解)』 through the interdisciplinary connection with Zen study, Zhouyi(周易) study, philosophy of Wang Yangming and so on, and then I wanted to contribute to vitalize the research on Zhixu's other writings.

Zhixu's 『Zhouyichanjie(周易禪解)』 reinterpreted『Zhouyi(周易)』 in the viewpoint of Zen and clarified the unity and fusion with Buddhism and the reason of 『Zhouyi(周易)』.
『Zhouyichanjie(周易禪解)』 is composed of the text and interpretation by the viewpoint of Zen. So preponderantly I analyzed Zhixu's interpretation by the viewpoint of Zen and showed his interpretation on Zhouyi(周易) as a Buddist thinker.

There are five main questions of this study.
First, how did Zhixu attempt the new interpretation on 『Zhouyi(周易)』?
Secondiy, how did Zhixu express his Zen thought?
Thirdly, how did Zhixu make a mutual understanding with 『Zhouyi(周易)』and Zen study?
