The data warehouse is an individual repository of information from many operational source databases that has been summarized and reconciled and is presented to the decision maker in insightful ways. Case-based reasoning systems solve problems by using knowledge gained from solving similar problems in the past.
In this thesis, we suggest a case-based design methodology that help initial data warehouse modeling by retrieving and using cases that are collected and stored in advance in the case-based reasoning system. The details of representing data warehouse cases, formulating the problem at hand, and retrieving the appropriate cases are described.
