      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      This research was mainly designed to find out the clothing attitude of home economics students and the relation between clothing attitude and personality factors, and to help make interest for the further research in relation between home economics and psychology.
      This particular research on both clothing attitude and personality factors was based on the academic theory of Spranger's clothing value, and personality factors was based on the academic theory of Spranger's clothing attitude and personality factors was based on the academic theory of Spranger's clothing value, and of findings of personality test conducted by the Korean Testing Center. A size of sample for this research was 129 students of the College of Home Economics, Ewha Womans University and the data was made by a result of self administered questionnaire.
      Rated high on the clothing attitude of home economics students were "theoretical and religious" types and "political and economic" types were low among those of theoretical, religious, aesthetic, social, political and economic attitudes. Relation between clothing attitude and personality factors was that "theoretical" type was rated highest to "sociability" personality, "religious" type to "masculinity" persons, and social, political, economic and aesthetic types to "impulsiveness" ones.
      In addition, comparison between clothing attitude and clothing interest was that the high interest on fashion advertising was with economic type. This research also found out that social and political types were rated highest and economic type was lowest in frequency of verbal communication in regard to the clothing style.
