드라마를 통해 본 감성문화 : TV 미니시리즈 「눈사람」을 중심으로 FOCUSING ON A MINI-SERIES Snowman = A NEW TYPE OF CULTURAL SENSIBILITY REFLECTED IN TV DRAMAS

국문 초록 (Abstract)

드라마가 흡인력을 갖기 위해서는 주된 시청자의 감성을 이해하고 존중해야 한다. 또한 시청자의 감성은 시대의 변화와 그에 부수되는 문화적 충돌 사이의 배경을 고려해야 온전히 이해할 수 있다. 드라마 「눈사람」은 멜로드라마의 기존 문법을 충실히 따르면서 '불륜'이라는 상투적인 소재를 '형부와 처제의 사랑'이라는 이색적인 재료로 가공한 드라마이다 네티즌을 중심으로 새로운 계층의 시청자들이 대두된 시점에서 그들이 보유한 감성의 보편적 가치, 즉 순연한 사랑 앞에서는 계도와 관습도 장식에 불과함을 이 드라마는 성공적으로 표출했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

An appealing drama requires understanding and respect of target viewers' sensibility. The thorough understanding of viewer sensibility, in turn, needs study of the relationship between changing times and accompanying cultural clashes. While adhering to the conventions of a melodrama, Snowman convincingly transformed the trite subject of extramarital affairs into touching love between a man and his wife's younger sister, a subject previously uncovered in Korean TV dramas. This drama successfully expresses the essence of the sensibility of newly emerging viewers, namely netizen, by illustrating that institutions and conventions are secondary to genuine love.
