조세희 〈난장이가 쏘아 올린 작은 공〉의 서사층위분석 시론 -서술시점과 진술태도의 변화가 빚어내는 불확정적 시선의 의미에 관하여- = The Narrative analysis of Cho Se-hee`s <Nanjang-i ga sso-a ollin jak-eun gong (The Ball Shot By A Midget)>

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In Korea, the 1970s was the era of industrialization. This period of industrialization in South Korea conducted by the various aspects of modern life forms had the experience. This time, the Korean Modern Literature is facing two kinds of literal issues. One is the humanity in modernization and another is the unification of divided nation. Cho Se-hee`s <Nanjang-i ga sso-a ollin jak-eun gong(The Ball Shot By A Midget)> dealt with the relation with humanity and industrialization in Korean 1970s. A brother and sister threesome, focused as narrator and the narrative subject of statement, are main charater. They state that the past stories of their family and the present situation which thsy were issued a demolition by Official Goverment of Nak-won(`nak-won` means `paradise` in Koren. This naming makes the ironical mood because this brother and sister threesome`s family are too poor and compensation money supplied bt the Goverment is too small, so they can not pay the sundrymiscellaneous expenses to be a residents of the apartment.) in this short story. The focus of the narrative qualified these statements are oriented to a different world tells us. Through such an narrative statement structure, The writer expose that these three children could not find the hope that they are able to make happy family and their father, midget will be happy. It is better revealed through a unsual narrative structure which similar title and same character make different story but the main subject is same. This narrative structure minimize the reader`s psychological distance of characters of stories because the situations and conflicts of stories are similar to reader`s so they can feel sympathy for characters.
