The purpose of this study is to inquire into the relationship of child welfare department students` personal intelligence and their lesson satisfaction and, consequently, to present the preliminary data which can help find methods to enhance students` satisfaction with their lesson and college life. The subjects for this study were comprised of 142 child welfare department students of a college located in Kyeong-gi province. As research tools, Interpersonal intelligence and intrapersonal intelligence of the multiple intelligence measures as well as lesson satisfaction measure were used. Correlation analysis and Simple Regression Analysis were conducted. The result of this study is as follows. First, there are meaningful correlation between child welfare department students` personal intelligence and their lesson satisfaction. As it shows, its statical correlation were confirmed in that the higher their intelligence were, the more satisfied they were. Second, interpersonal intelligence has a significant effect on their lesson satisfaction as well. The students with higher interpersonal intelligence turned out to be more satisfied with their department comparatively. Third, the influence of intrapersonal intelligence on theit lesson satisfaction is meaningful, too. It was tevealed that the students who had higher intrapersonal intelligence were mote satisfied with their department than the students who didn`t. Therefore, this study suggests that the development and application of programs to improve personal intelligence be needed so that the students can be more successful in their department choice and adaptation to college life.
