      At present, if the reality of our country's large cities is viewed, ground spaces were given away to purpose facilities such as housing, business and commerce, etc. and basic urban infrastructure, and the rest urban functions-urban public space, mediated space, etc.- are playing a role for allowing to take a breath barely in the gaps.
      The present study confirms that multi-dimensional urban space is improving amenity of urban space in several meanings from many overseas cases and further, arranges several concepts about multi-dimensional urban space and considers about the meaning of urban amenity.
      The present study researches on how multi-dimensional urban space can be applied to improve urban amenity in our reality in a conceptual, systematic and environmental aspects through it.
