북한이탈주민의 A 유형 행동패턴과 내외 통제 소재가 대인불안에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 북한이탈주민이 남한에서 적응하는데 있어서 성격적 측면의 중요성을 밝히려고 했다. 이를 위해 북한이탈주민이 원래부터 가지고 있던 여러 성격적 요소 중 A 유형 행동패턴과 내외 통제 소재를 중심으로 이들 요소가 대인불안에 미치는 영향을 분석하였으며, 이를 남한주민과 비교하여 그 의미를 보다 정확히 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구에 포함된 북한이탈주민은 82명이었고, 남한주민은 96명이었다. 연구 결과, 북한이탈주민들은 남한주민들에 비해 A 유형 행동패턴과 외적 통제소재의 점수가 높았으며, 이러한 경향이 높을수록 대인불안 수준이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해서 볼 때, 북한이탈주민들이 남한에서 적응하는데 영향을 미칠 수 있는 성격적 요인들이 존재함을 알 수 있고, 이러한 성격적 요인을 포함하여 개인 요인을 더 많이 밝힐 필요가 있음을 알 수 있다. 그리고 이렇게 밝혀지는 내용들을 토대로 이들의 강점은 더욱 강화시키고 약점은 빨리 극복할 수 있는 프로그램 마련 등의 지원방안을 모색할 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to identify the importance of personality when the North Korean Defectors attempt to adjust in Korea. To do so, we analyzed the impact of A type behavior pattern and locus of control on the interpersonal anxiety of the North Korean Defectors, and compared the results with ones of the South Koreans. The research participants are composed of the North Korean Defectors (n=82) and the South Koreans (n=96). The result showed that the A type score and external locus of control score of the North Korean Defectors were higher than those variables of the South Koreans. And the higher are these tendencies, the lower is social anxiety. Based on these results, it is necessary to consider the North Korean Defectors" psychological traits such as personality to understand their adaptation in Korea.
