The purpose of this study was to segmentally discuss the operational mechanism of educational capability in relation to the university education systems while asking questions about the educational capability of university. The discussion so far can be summarized as follows.
First, a university is a place to improve educational capability. A student’s core competencies are secondary importance. When conceptualizing educational capability, it is necessary to include field resources in the university, the realities of students’ lives, and the needs of the current society.
Second, the components of educational capability are ‘enterprise in coursework’ by professors, the administration of support that enhances the competitiveness of enterprise in coursework, and institutionalization of evaluation and feedback which leads to release and open educational capability to colleagues. These components should be strengthened because they interact to generate educational competencies.
Third, the professor’s coursework should be based on educational purpose, consideration of the curriculum, and the principles of educational methodology. The administration of support in a universality should focus on reestablishing educational aims, reforming curriculum, innovating teaching methods, and expanding administrative power of support and finance in aspect of a university. The evaluation and feedback systems should inspect and give feedback on the functions and effects of the components of educational capability.
