다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

Born in Poland, Abakanowicz has palyed a vital role for Fiber arts revolution through the 1960s and onwards, and has worked as a pioneer in the rehabilitation of human figurative sculpture without a break.
In the 20th century, As contemporary art kept changing, Abakanowicz intended to bring back human life with an oriental instinctive speculation as opposed to an occidental analytic philosophy. She is an artist who observed humans and the environment by means of interpretation and consciousness of the property of space and materials. Her organic view of the world and her study on human nature are expressed as a huge figurine involving nature circle. This is the very 'Abakan'.
This research is based on other documents regarding Abakanowicz, looking through her work history and each of Abakans' distinctions after classifying them into distinct periods according to the differences of shapes. This helps us appreciate her work and figure out her notion.
Besides that, it is analyzing the interactivities between her work and medium with studying on the special quality of fiber.
Her sculptures show her experiences in the child hood, her images from unconciousness, and her imagination made out of those ones. This is to search for her identity while to express herself.
Abakan was given the shape of human and nature at the beginning. Then its original form was changed gradually. Abakan is the result of stillness without any movement and univerality of anonymous human.
She chose textiles as material for human sculptures because the fiber tends to deform easily and its texture is various such as being silky, being rough. So we can feel her creatures with a sense of sight and touch. This human figure is mataphor for the miserable human life.
Especially A hemp and a jute are right not only to make human sculpture group look like complex nervous tissue but to feel grave and depressed atmosphere in postwar Poland as well.
Abakanowicz has been dedicated to put human nature thinking of the root of their pain and cultivating their mind on the main spot of art and her work. She named it 'The Circle' that we are born, grow up, and change constantly.
