인지-정서 통합 모델 중심 유아 정서교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용타당성 연구: 단기종단적 접근

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아의 정서능력을 구성하는 중요한 능력들을 구조적으로 분석하고 체계화하기 위해 유아의 정서능력 검사도구를 개발하여 유아기 정서능력을 검사하고, 이후 초등학교에서의 학업성취도 까지 추적, 조사하여, 유아의 정서능력이 취학 후 아동의 학업성취도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증해 보는 것을 그 목적으로 하였다). 1년차 연구결과인 정서능력 분석을 기초로 인지․정서 구성요인 간 통합적 모델을 중심으로 정서교육 프로그램을 구축한 후, 이를 유아교육현장에서 실제 적용할 수 있도록 하기 위함이다. 연구결과, 첫째, 단기 종단적 연구 설계에 따라 유치원 시기의 정서능력과 초등학년기에 언어능력과 수학적 능력으로 구분지어 검사를 실시한 결과, 유치원시기의 정서능력과 초등학령기 학업성취도와 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 초등학령기 언어능력과 수학능력에 있어 유아기 정서능력의 영향력은 34%와 50%인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 인지정서 통합 중심 모델 유아정서교육 프로그램을 개발하여 유아의 정서능력과 인지능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아본 결과, 인지․정서 통합모델 중심 유아정서교육 프로그램은 언어능력에는 두 집단간에 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으나, 반면에 논리수학적 능력과 정서능력은 두 집단간에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 인지․정서 통합 모델 중심 유아정서교육 프로그램을 실시한 실험집단이 누리과정을 실시한 통제집단과 비교하여 유아의 논리수학적 점수와 정서능력 점수가 더 향상된 것을 의미한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of emotional competence in kindergarten and academic achievement in elementary school and to develop and tp apply emotional competence education program based on the emotion-cognition integration model. The research results can be summarized as follows. First, there were positive relationship between emotional competence in kindergarten and academic achievement in elementary school. Emotional competence in kindergarten were significant predictors of academic achievement in elementary school. Second, I developed content for 14 activities used in an emotional competence education program based on the emotion-cognition integration model. the children's emotional competence education program was found to have a positive effects on the children's emotional competence and cognition competence.
