In Germany it is now common to use psychomotricity training in education and therapy more and more. It is used as activity within the outdoor education. This system helps the children and youths to get rid of the inferiority complex and the contact behaviour disorder.
In the present assignment it is about analysing the legal status of the psychomotor specialist(German: Psychomotoriker). There is no law in Germany for the psychomotor specialist. But he is deployed in handicapped aid and the youth welfare. That is the reason why the lawful conditions are in Germany a problem, too. In Korea there is a lot of interests, too, for the psychomotor specialist. They are trained in private institutions. His work is, nevertheless unprofessional. The lawful and organisational basics for the intervention of the psychomotor specialist are missing.
This assignment split into two different areas. The one area being the legal status of the psychomotor specialist with emphasis in the educational and social area, and the second field analysing the legal basic condition within the psychomotricity in the therapy.
From the results above one can ask one self what Korea can learn from the experience in Germany. After that it has to be asked how the situation is in Korea with the psychomotor specialist, how they can be trained, where it can be used and what has to be changed. The goal should be to manage the lawful basic conditions so that the psychomotor specialists can work more efficient.
