산업연관분석에 의한 한국 제조업의 수입의존구조 변화와 특징 = A Study on the Import Dependence Structure of Korean Manufacturing Industry by Input-Output Analysis

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 2000년부터 2008년까지를 대상으로 산업연관분석의 기본모형을 도입하여 국내 제조업의 생산 및 수입의존 구조의 변화와 함께 수출과 수입구조의 상호의존관계를 관찰하고 있다. 실증분석 결과, 국내 제조업의 품목별 수출비중과 수입비중은 모든 기간 동안 전체 산업에 비하여 상대적으로 매우 높게 나타나, 국내 제조업의 품목별 수출 증가(감소)는 수입 증가(감소)로 이어지는 상호의존관계가 관찰되었다. 이는 곧 “수출증가 = 수입증가 = 수출증가‘라는 한국경제 성장패러다임의 구조적 장점과 단점을 여실히 나타내고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study has considered change of the import dependence structure of Korean manufacturing industry, and the relations of interdependence of export-and-import structure through input-output analysis. An analysis period covered is carried out from 2000 to 2008, and is setting 5 times.
The empirical analysis suggested given the export rate according to items of Korean manufacturing industry is high compared with whole industry, and the degree of dependence upon imports was rising. This meaning is if there are close relations of interdependence between import and export structure.
Therefore, it carried out as the strong point and demerit of a growth paradigm of Korean economy, and the structural feature of being suitable and “an export increase leads to a rise in imports” was observed clearly.
However, in the whole period, the degree of dependence upon imports of Korean manufacturing industry was falling succeedingly, and it became clear that improvement in ability of production engineering is made continuously.
