There is relatively little information concerning the characteristics of the travelog and how synthetic model of the travelog should be organized in the most effective manner. Therefore, this study reports on the meaningful findings of related traveloges that have taken an in-depth look at the Korean and foreign travelog guides for the implementation of the travelog planning and development. To compare on the constructive system of the travelog, this study suggests that 1) the travelog would describe in point of view of tourism than point of view of sightseeing, 2) the travelog must have three tourism elements including culture experience, enjoyment(entertainment), and emotional-physical rest, 3) the travelog would describe according to a theme, and 4) the travelog need to describe with a visual expression, which is picture and photograph. In conclusion, this study ultimately attempts to help in the enhancement of concrete travelog development and actualize planning for the travelog. So the results of this study could lead to better methods for the travelog development and planning on the basis of a better understanding of the tourism.
