발달장애 청소년의 음악창조 활동 경험 연구: 장애 정체감 형성과정 중심으로|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 발달장애 청소년의 음악창조 활동 경험의 본질과 장애 정체감 형성의 의미를 질적 연구방법의 하나인 사례연구로 논지를 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 음악창조 활동에 참여한 발달장애 청소년 2명을 표집으로 조사하고 심층 면접하였다. 음악창조 활동의 경험에서의 연구결과는 첫째, 음악창조 활동 결과물인 ‘새벽 날개’가 만들어졌다. 두 번째 장애 정체감 형성의 의미에서는 ‘함께하니 즐거워’, ‘자기 의지와지지’, ‘나도 연주자’로 나타났다. 연구결과에 따라 음악창조 활동 경험은 결과물을 만들어 내는 과정에서 참여자들의 자기 결정과 상호소통의 기회가 만들어졌다. 또한, 발달장애 청소년들의 장애 정체감 형성에 있어서 장애 인식을 지원하는 것에 도움이 된다. 그러나 장애 정체감 형성과정과 음악창조 활동 경험과의 관계를 의미 있게 살피기에는 부족하다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 음악창조 활동의 결과물들이 다양하게 생산되기 위한 실천적 지원과 앞으로의 사회적 문화적 접근으로의 장애 정체감 형성에 관한 연구가 필요할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to elucidate its argument about the essence of music creation activity experience of adolescents with developmental disabilities and the meaning of disability identity formation, by using a case study, one of qualitative study methods. To this end, it conducted in-depth interviews with two adolescents with developmental disabilities, who engaged in music creation activity experience by conducting a sampling survey of them. The findings are as follows:
First, the ‘Dawn Wing’, the outcome from the music creation activity experience was created. Second, the meanings of the disability identity formation including ‘It’s pleasant to be together with others’, ‘one’s will and support’and ‘I’m also a player’. According to them, the music creation activity experience made opportunities for participants’self-decision and interaction, in producing the outcome. It also helps support adolescents with developmental disabilities to recognize the disabilities, in forming the disability identity. It is not, however, sufficient to meaningfully examine the relationship between the process of disability identity formation and the music creation activity experience. On the basis of the findings, it is necessary to provide practical support for producing various outcomes from the music creation activity and conduct a further study on the disability identity formation as a sociocultural approach.
