인클루시브 디자인 개념을 적용한 모빌리티 디자인에 관한 연구 = A study on a mobility design research concentrated on Inclusive design

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The advent of 4th industrial revolution and paradigm shift of customers has led the rapid transition of mobility industry from a mere automobile to a smart mobility providing the value of mobility as a service. In this regards, it is evident that the value of inclusive design that understands various users’ experience, circumstance with qualitative design research method has become important than ever. The shiftting perception of the market from makers’ oriented to users’ oriented market also led mobility market into various mobility platforms thanks to rapid improvement of ICT. In this paper, firstly the literature review of the inclusive design and user centred design have been conducted. Secondly two distinctive mobility design projects have been analysed in order to understand how the inclusive design principle and method have been applied. In conclusion, the mobility industry has become more competitive than ever before and moreover similar mobility services have been introduced endlessly. In this context, mobility solution with understanding the value of inclusive design is the most imperative issue and play a prominent role in delivering the most competitive mobility solution and exploring new design direction in mobility solution.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

4차산업혁명의 도래와 사용자 패러다임의 변화와 함께 이동 수단의 변화 또한 급속하게 진행되고 있으며, 이러한 가운데 과거 단순한 목적지로의 이동에서 나아가 이동 간의 가치 제공을 최우선으로 하는 이른바 사용자 중심의 스마트 모빌리티로 발전하고 있다. 이와 같은 상황에서 사용자의 다양한 경험을 이해하고 반영하는 인클루시브 디자인의 중요성이 날로 높아지고 있으며, 생산자 중심에서 사용자 중심으로의 패러다임 변화, ICT 기술의 발전과 다양한 사용자의 요구와 맞물려 다양한 모빌리티 플랫폼과 서비스를 담은 이른바 모빌리티 솔루션으로 진화하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 인클루시브 디자인의 개념과 사용자 중심 디자인 및 경험 이해의 중요성을 살펴보고, 인클루시브 디자인 개념을 적용한 모빌리티 디자인 사례를 분석하여, 향후 날로 치열해지고 유사해지는 모빌리티 시장에서 새로운 경쟁력 확보방안 및 새로운 디자인 방향성 제안의 가능성에 대하여 고찰하여 보았다.
