다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

Since the Great Recession of 2007/8, the crisis of capitalism has gone beyond the economic cycle crisis of industrial societies limited to each country and has become a long-term global dual crisis (economic and ecological pincer crisis – on the contrary). The attempt to overcome this crisis through the dual transformation of capitalism (digital transformation and decarbonization) simultaneously carries the possibility of developing into a socio-ecologically sustainable society and the risk of catastrophe. In this article, the theoretical challenges that sociology faced in the transitional era are largely summarized into two. One is the essential crisis of sociology, which was born and formed against the background of modernity based on a growth society (i.e., the crisis of the strategy of modernity based on a growth society), and the other, as can be guessed from the connection with the first, is the challenge (transition) to sociology objectifying and theorizing social problems against the background of a growth society. In other words, sociology means the theoretical and practical choice of regression to the modernization strategy of the growth society, adaptation to the changed situation, and transition from the modernization strategy. This study seeks to explore theoretical strategies for building a sustainable society in the context of low growth.
