The exchange-correlations in a layered electron gas of high electron density are investigated. taking into account of the electron self-energy of first order and higher orders, by means of a temperature Green funtion for a perturbation of the coulomb interaction.
A nonlocal exchange energy is obtained to first order of the perturbation expansion at the same layer. The proper self-energy due to higher order polarizations is calculated from a ring diagram with a screened effective interaction. From this result, we find that behavior of the screened effective interaction has a dependency on the seperation of the layers as well as the electron density and then examine higher-order correlations in the limit of 9→0
