The purpose of this study is to determine the influences on the adjustment and the school life leadership of youth according to levels of family system type. The specific objects of this study are as follows: 1) Analyzing the difference between adjustment and the school life leadership of the girls` high school students according to the levels of family system types. 2) Analyzing the influence on the adjustment and the school life leadership of the girl`s school students according to the levels of family system types. The major findings of this study were as follows: The family type perceived by the respondents was classified into 12% in Extreme Family, 32% in Mid-range Family, and 56% in Balanced Family type. The influence of family cohesion on the adjustment of highschool girls is as following. It proves that the variable of disengaged family in offensiveness and melancholy, the connected family in self-reliance, has a lot of effects on the highschool girls relatively. The influence of the family types cohesion on the school life leadership is as following. The `connected family` has relatively the greater influence in the relation to teacher, colleague, and subject and activity.
