연속동사 구문과 단형부정의 구조 분석

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Based on the fact that V-V constructions can be divided into two types with respect to the interaction with short form negation (SFN), this paper investigates the structure of V-V constructions and SFN. While examining properties of SFN compared with long form negation, this paper proposes that the negative morpheme in SFN is a lexical affix. To explain the frozen scope effect and NPI licensing of SFN, it is argued that the negative morpheme in SFN is related to the function projection NegP at cover syntax. Based on the proposed structure of SFN, this paper claims that some V-V constructions are unambiguously analyzed as lexical compounds and others are structurally ambiguous between a lexical compound and a syntactic construction involving an adjunction structure.
