사이버시대의 인격과 도덕에 대한 철학적 접근 = A Philosophical Study on Person and Morality in Cyber Era: Focused on Critique of Kim Sun-Hie’'s Research

국문 초록 (Abstract)

사이버 시대에는 정보의 실체화로 인해 사회적 책임과 권리에 대한 문제가 빈발한다. 이에 대해 심신이원론을 부정하고, 인격을 사회적 권리와 책임의 주체로 보아야 한다는 김선희의 연구는 유의미하다. 그러나 김선희의 주장 가운데 인간의 몸과 두뇌를 구성하는 질료를 중요하게 판단하지 않는 점, 비인격체도 몸과 두뇌의 유기적 통합이 충족되면 인격체로 보는 점, 사이버 공간은 도덕 공동체가 되기 어렵다는 점은 그가 제시한 전제와 모순된다. 본 논문은 심신이원론을 부정한다는 것은 질료를 중요하게 판단할 수밖에 없다는 점, 비인격체는 어떠한 변화를 겪어도 인격체가 될 수 없다는 점, 사이버 공간도 물리 공간과 마찬가지로 도덕 공동체의 가능성을 지니고 있다는 대안을 제시한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

One of the most distinguished characteristics in cyber era is incarnation of information which derives the issues on social responsibility and rights. Kim Sun-Hie rejects mind-body dualism, the uniqueness of material elements of human brain; proclaims that the organic unification of the body and the brain turns non-person into a person, and concludes that cyber space hardly can be a moral community. This paper interrogates Kim’s ideas; mind-body dualism can be rejected only when the uniqueness of the human brain is granted, non-person cannot be turned into a person no matter what happens, and finally, cyber space can be as moral as physical world.
