國立大學 新聞社의 效率的 運營方案 硏究 = A Study on the Efficient Management of the National University Newspaper

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper is attemped to find out managemental problems of the Korean national university newspapers and suggest some ways to improve the established system. In order to achieve these aims, ten of the national university newspapers were made an object of empirical study to do with questionnaire of 94 items and interviews.
Having been published in each university, the newspaper has not performed desirable function in consequence of defect of its system and organization.
In the institutional aspect, it is necessary to reform the system of operations, to guarantee independence of it's organization in outward as well as in substance, and to increase a full-time staff. In the managemental aspect, in order to relieve a budgetary deficit, it is required to install a printing machine in the office, to abolish and amalgamate with similar organizations, and to manage the advertisement earnings efficiently. To settle down some troubles occurring in the process of editing, it is recommended to establish some democratic procedures which allow student newsmen to take part in an editorial conference.
