      Acceptance of various informations of human beings is mainly depended on the sense of sight. Visually accepted informations are recognized as individual single information and as complex at the same time. The characteristic is reflected on a person to recognize formative elements that compose a product. This study defined basic formative elements into the 1st formative elements(curvature, weight, ratio, volume) and the 2nd formative elements(safety, motility, simplicity, complexity) in order to examine a characteristic of a user's emotional reaction about formative elements that compose form of the product, and conducted 2-step tests. The test presented 54 of arbitrarily selected products, measured the subject's degree of recognition for each formative element and analyzed it. The result showed that significantness of formative elements is mostly increasing according to whether the element that can be compared exists or not and it has intention of accepting form itself as it is visualized when judging overall form. According to the analysis, attributes of the 1st formative elements are affecting the 2nd formative elements which appeared to be highly significant and greatly correlated. Based on these results, a guide, that can lead intentional reaction about the 2nd formative elements, can possibly be presented according to combined methods of the 1st formative elements when designing a new formative. A study about formative elements of defining mutual relations of formative elements will be continued through more complex and precise analysis on a recognition characteristic.
