This study has been carried out to investigate the wear characteristics of alloyiron casting for cylinder liner application under dry rolling condition by amsler type wear test with 9.09% sliding. The results obtained from this study are summrized as follows: 1. The amount of rolling wear is increased with increasing of rolling revolution and maximum compressive stress, and wear amount of alloy cast iron under dry condition is increased by alloying element; P, Ti, Mo, Cu and V. 2. The weight loss ratio by rolling revolution of alloy cast iron is changed with uniform by P and Ti elements and with variable by other elements. 3. It has been found that the amount of rolling wear and the hardness of alloy cast iron by alloying elements under dry rolling condition is not related for abnormal wear.
