The purposes of this study were to examine the effects on young children's social status and language expression by e-mail correspondence. The findings of the study were as follows:
1. There were statistically no meaningful effect on the change of young children's social status by e-mail correspondence. Nut if young children are in correspondence with other children for longer time, there will appear statistically meaningful effect on the change of young children's social status by e-mail correspondence.
2. Young children expressed simple greetings in first e-mail, but their expression were changed gradually from simple greetings to deep concern in daily life.
3. The parents who have children corresponding by e-mail become to have deeper concern with their children's friend
