영상의학과 외래와 임상 교육 강화의 필요성과 방법론 연구 = Study on the Necessity and Methodology for Enhancing Outpatient and Clinical Education in the Department of Radiology

국문 초록 (Abstract)

급변하는 의료환경 속에서 벌어지는 다양한 영역분쟁(turf battle)의 한가운데에서 영상의학과 의사는 본인들의 위치를 적절하게 자리매김하기 위해 부단히 노력하고 있으며, 그 일환으로 영상의학과 외래와 임상교육강화 및 그 방법론에 대한 모색의 필요성이 대두되었다. 이를위해 대한영상의학회에서는 전문위원회를 발족하여, 외국 영상의학과 의사의 임상/외래 진료 현황 및 연관 교육 현황, 국내 타과 의사의 영상의학과 영역의 진료 및 교육 현황 및 국내영상의학과 의사의 임상/외래 진료 현황을 파악하였으며, 대한영상의학회 회원 대상 임상역량강화 관련 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 영상의학과 의사의 가시성 및 임상역량강화의 필요성에 대해 정립하였고 임상역량강화의 방법론을 제안하였다.

In the rapidly evolving healthcare environment, radiologists strive to establish their rightful place.
Thus, there is a need for enhanced outpatient and clinical education within the Department of Radiology and exploration of its methodologies. Accordingly, the Korean Society of Radiology established a task force to investigate the clinical and outpatient practice status of radiologists overseas, current state of related education, involvement of other specialties in radiologic practices and education in Korea, and clinical and outpatient practice status among Korean radiologists. Furthermore, a survey on clinical competency enhancement was conducted among the members of the Korean Society of Radiology. These findings suggest the need for visibility and clinical competency enhancement in radiologists and methodologies for strengthening clinical competencies.
