In order to improve the quality of service to users, museums began to actively explore digital conversion. In particular, mobile applications, as part of the museum's digital strategy, have become an important bridge between the museum and the public. In this context, the user experience as the service object of the museum application is particularly important, which is the core of the success or failure of the visual design of the application interface. Therefore, in-depth research and analysis of museum application interface visual design, with user experience as the center has important theoretical value and practical significance. This paper aims to explore the visual design of museum applications, investigate how color, graphics, layout, text and other factors affect user recognition, emotion and behavior in application interface, and propose a user experience-centered visual design discussion and implementation strategy. In order to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the research, this paper conducted case analysis and questionnaire survey on 4 excellent museums, studied the visual design of museum interface centered on user experience, and obtained results with reference value for designers. The results show that the quality of user experience is an important criterion to judge the success of museum application visual design.
