중학교 교사용 실천지능검사의 개발 및 타당화 = A Study on the Development and Validation of the Practical Intelligence Test for Middle School Teachers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

  이 연구는 중학교 교사용 실천지능검사(PIT-MST: Practical Intelligence Test for Middle School Teachers)를 개발하고 그것의 타당성 및 신뢰성을 검토한 것이다. 이를 위해 교사용 실천지능검사에 대한 선행 연구 분석과 함께 중학교 교사들과의 심층면담을 통해 7가지 하위영역(① 교과교육, ② 생활지도, ③ 행정업무, ④ 학생과의 관계, ⑤ 학부모와의 관계, ⑥ 동료교사와의 관계, 그리고 ⑦ 자기계발)을 추출하였다. 그 다음 핵심사건기법을 활용한 상황판단검사의 형태로 각 하위영역별 6문항씩 예비 문항을 개발한 후 예비검사 과정을 거쳐 각 영역별 3문항씩, 총 21문항으로 구성된 PIT-MST를 개발하였다. 최종적으로 완성된 PIT-MST의 타당성과 신뢰성을 검토하기 위해 총 315명의 중학교 교사들을 대상으로 본검사를 실시하였다. PIT-MST의 총점과 7개 하위 영역들간의 상관분석과 구조방정식모형을 이용한 확인적 요인 분석을 통해 구인타당도를 검토한 결과 비교적 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 PIT-MST의 재검사신뢰도는 .83, Cronbach 알파계수는 .67로 신뢰도 또한 비교적 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 요컨대 이 연구를 통해 새롭게 개발한 중학교 교사용 실천지능검사의 타당도와 신뢰도가 비교적 양호한 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

  This research focused on developing and validating the Practical Intelligence Test for Middle School Teachers(PIT-MST) in order to concretely confirm one of the characteristics of successful teachers. Through the literature review and interviews with teachers, PI for teachers is conceptualized as the ability to cope with problem or conflict situations that rise from performing their jobs as teachers. Seven areas (① instruction, ② guidance, ③ administrative work, ④ relations with students, ⑤ relations with parents, ⑥ relations with peers, and ⑦ self-development) were suggested as sub-domains of PIT-MST, based upon literature reviews as well as interviews with middle school teachers. 6 items per each sub-domain were included in the pilot test, but 3 items per each sub-domain, that is 21 items in total, were finally selected in the PIT-MST, in reference to the pilot test results. The complete form of PIT-MST was conducted to the 315 middle school teachers, in order to confirm the validity and reliability as a good measurement tool. Based upon the data analysis, the PIT-MST has good construct validity, which was checked by the correlation analysis among seven sub-domains as well as the confirmatory factor analysis using structural equation model. In addition, the test-retest reliability was .83, and Cronbach"s α was .67. In conclusion, the newly developed PIT-MST has acceptable psychometric characteristics, and it can be used in the future studies.
