국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 아동기 자녀를 양육하고 있는 여성장애인의 자녀양육 실태를 파악함으로써 이들의 양육지원을 위한 실효성 있는 정책지원방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 아동기 자녀를 양육중인 여성장애인 356명을 대상으로 이들의 자녀양육의 현황과 자녀양육지원 서비스 욕구, 자녀양육스트레스와 양육만족감을 조사하였다.
연구결과, 여성장애인들은 자녀양육에 있어 경제적 비용 때문에 가장 큰 어려움을 느끼고 있었으며 현재 지원되고 있는 공공 양육지원서비스에 대한 인지도와 이용률이 모두 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 여성장애인들이 경제적 비용과 육아정보와 관련된 양육스트레스를 많이 받고 있지만, 부모로서 자녀 양육시 느끼는 만족감도 큰 것으로 나타났다. 결론에서는 연구결과를 바탕으로 여성장애인 자녀의 방과후 교실 우선이용권, 학습지원 서비스 활성화, 자녀들에 대한 멘토링 서비스 등의 여성장애인의 자녀양육지원방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to understand parenting experiences of women with disabilities and examine the needs of thems. The data were collected from 356 disabled mothers rearing elementary school children.
According to this research, parenting experiences of women with disabilities offered relief and achievement to them. However, due to lack of systematic support, women with disabilities have many difficulties in rearing of children. Especially, most of them have trouble financial difficulties. Although service system to help their household affairs and parenting exist, this study reveals that their recognition and use of those systems are still low.
Based on these findings, these research has made some recommendations to support disabled mothers' parenting.
