In this paper, we obtain hte Hyers-Ulam stability and modified Hyers-Ulam stability for the equations of the form g(x + p) = ρ(x)g(x) + c in the following settings:
|g(x + p) - ρ(x)g(x) + c|≤ δ
and |g(x + p) - ρ(x)g(x) + c|≤ φ(x).
As consequence we obtain the stability Theorems for the gamma functional equation.
