蘇軾 題畵詩 연구 방법론 서설 = An Essay on Methodology about Sushi's Poems on Paintings

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Su Shi(蘇軾) has been a model of Song literati, the leading figure of luo-xue(洛學) as well as a master writer of both verse and prose. In addition, he himself was a painter and connoisseur, producing many painting theories. Su Shi had some personal backgrounds which led him more closely to art and letters, for example his father's influence and artistic atmosphere of his family, but he owed much of his achievements in both literature and the arts to his times. Su Shi wrote several poems on paintings. Considering his influencing power, he played a main role in poems on paintings. He was a literary star, exercising his influence over Song literati. Some insist that Su Shi's paintings and calligraphy works are not equal to his literary works just as his practices are to his theories. It does not mean, however, that we need some ranking system. Rather, the gap comes from the difference between past and present, or the needs of his times and the effects he has on us now. Some of such criticisms are sometimes believed to have tendency to put literary works above paintings and theories above practices. But this is closer to separate and closed approach. Broader studies are more likely to focus on the relations and interactions between them.
