철학 : 공자의 군자론과 철학의 이념 = Philosophy : Confucius Ideas of the ideas and methodology of Gentleman(君子) and Philosophy

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Confucius said, at fifteen, I had my mine bent on learning, At thirty, I stood firm, At forty, I had no doubt, At fifty I knew the decrees of Heaven, At sixty, my ear was an obedient organ for the reception of truth, At seventy, I could follow what my heart desired, without transgressing what was right. Confucius` saying is imply the ideas and methodology of ``learning to become a sage.`` Gentleman(君子)`s study is ``learning to become a sage.`` Gentleman`s path is realization of humanness. This dissertation`s aim is to articulate the ideas and methodology of Gentleman based upon Confucius`s saying. Confucius believe in reality of the human mind & it`s nature. What Heaven has conferred is called the human nature. An accordance with this human nature is called ``path of Gentleman. Gentleman`s human path is realization of humanness. Gentleman`s human relationship is none other than conscientiousness and altruism. This Rule is expressed in the confucian version of reciprocity: What you do not wish for yourself, do not do to others.
