왜 체육공부인가? = Why is physical education kong-fu?

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

There is a problems of selfishness and loss of humanity in physical education world. The only way to resolve this is to study physical education koug-fu. In order to know that why is physical education kong-fu? the problem set the two studies. One is the differences between physical education science and physical education kong-fu. the other is why physical education kong-fu. The results were as follows. First, is the difference between physical education science and physical education kong-fu. Physical education science is science research of phenomena and problems of physical education. It has brought tangible result of improved recording, fitness, health promotion. However, despite the superficial physical growth, it is the missing part. The part is a humanity in sport or school physical education. The purpose of education is a human perfection. physical education kong-fu must contribute to the perfection of a human. The fundamental difference between physical education science and physical education kong-fu can be found at the intrinsic value and the extrinsic value orientation. Second, why is physical education kong-fu. A study results are as follows. The school physical education, athletic sports, sports for all seek only to win in sporting context. There is selfishness and loss of humanity in sport, even as regards athlete as opponent. In conclusion, sports activities without humanity are only to encounter mechanical. To solve this problem is not physical education science but physical education kong-fu, This is the answer for why is physical education kong-fu.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

체육계의 이기심과 인간성 상실의 문제를 해결할 수 있는 길이 체육공부에 있다는 생각에서 왜 체육공부인가에 대한 문제의식을 가지고 두 가지 연구문제를 설정하였다. 하나는 체육과학과 체육공부의 차이이고, 다른 하나는 왜 체육공부인가이다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체육과학과 체육공부의 차이이다. 체육과학은 체육현상과 문제에 대한 과학적 연구이다. 그 결과로 인하여 기록향상, 체력향상, 건강증진 등 가시적 성과를 가져왔다. 하지만 외형적 성장에도 불구하고 체육과학이 놓치고 있는 부분이 있다. 그 부분이 바로 인간형성이다. 교육의 목적이 인간형성이라면 체육 또한 인간형성에 기여를 해야 한다. 그렇기 때문에 인격형성과 관련성이 높은 체육공부가 필요하다. 체육과학과 체육공부의 근본적 차이는 외재적 가치지향과 내재적 가치지향이다. 둘째, 왜 체육공부인가에 대한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 이 땅의 체육은 학교체육이나 생활체육이나 엘리트체육이나 모두 승리에 집착하고 있다는 공통점을 가지고 있다. 그 결과 운동하는 재미는 사라지고 경기 결과에만 모두가 주목한다. 자기만 우승하며 그만이고 상대가 어떻게 되어도 상관이 없다는 이기심이 넘쳐나고 심지어 상대선수를 동료가 아닌 적으로 간주한다. 그 결과 인간성은 상실될 뿐만 아니라 기계적인 만남과 운동행위만이 존재한다. 이 문제를 해결 할 수 있는 것은 체육과학이 아니라 체육공부이며, 이것이 왜 체육공부인가에 대한 대답이기도 하다.
