우리나라의 스포츠교육 프로그램: 시즌 설계와 운영 사례 = Action Research for the Application of Sport Education Programs in Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

학교체육에서 스포츠를 잘 가르치기 위해 실제적인 방법으로 제안된 스포츠교육은 교육과정 프로그램이자 통합적 수업모형으로 지난 20년 동안 지속적으로 탐구되고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 스포츠교육에 대한 자료는 소수의 이론서적과 미국, 호주 등에서 활용된 자료들에 의존하고 있는 형편이며, 우리나라에 적용될 수 있도록 현장에서 개발된 자료들은 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 우리나라 학교급별로 스포츠교육을 운영 해보고 그 운영 사례를 바탕으로 우리에게 맞는 스포츠교육 시즌 설계와 운영을 위한 자료를 개발하고자 하는 목적으로 실시되었다. 세 명의 초·중·고 교사들을 대상으로 1년 동안 다양한 내용의 스포츠교육 시즌을 적용해본 후, 스포츠교육 운영을 위해 필요한 설계단계와 내용을 교사의 입장에서 제시하였다. 이 설계방법은 스포츠교육 프로그램 운영을 위해 교사에게 필요한 요소와 절차, 그리고 교육학 지식과 역할을 담고 있다. 따라서 스포츠교육을 실행하고자 하는 교사에게 꼭 필요한 안내 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Sport Education, a practical teaching method to instruct sports and an integrated instructional model in physical education, has been developed over 20 years. In Korea, however, few materials and books are available for teachers and practitioners and also most of them are written and published in other countries such as the USA and Australia. Thus, the purpose of this research is to develop materials for the season design of sport education and its guideline. Three teachers from elementary, middle, and high schools are engaged in this research who want to improve their practice and are committed to continual interests of sport education. Contents, methods, and step-by-step designs for sport education programs are suggested based on having applied the various sport education seasons in their actual teachings for one year. The season design involves elements, procedures, related educational knowledge and roles for the sport education programs. The results will effectively guide teachers who want to apply sport education in their instruction.
