의사에게 요구되는 설명 기술 = The Effective Explanatory Skills Needed by Doctors

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Patient-doctor communication is an integral part of clinical practice. The purpose of this study is to examinethe effective explanatory skills needed by doctors. Assessing the patient's knowledge and emotionalcondition and building the doctor's credibility (expertise, trustworthiness and dynamism) are presented asthe fundamental principles of explanation. For successful explanation it is necessary to package facts andideas in ways that patients can understand and remember. Doctors can do this by using familiar, simpleand concrete words, by arranging ideas in an organizational pattern (ex. Chronological Patterns, SpatialPatterns), by placing the most important information first or last. These 3 skills aim for the maximum ofexplanation clarity.
