여자 고등학교 방과 후 체대 입시 프로그램에 관한 사례 연구 = A Case Study of After School Physical Education for University Entrance Examination in Girls’ High School

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the experiences of teachers who guided after-school entrance exam programs and participating students at girls' high schools to find out the operation process, characteristics, and improvements of the after-school entrance exam programs. In order to achieve this research purpose, two physical education teachers, four enrolled students, and two graduates from Sarang Girls' High School were selected as study participants, using the nomadic sampling method. Data were collected, through documentary data, in-depth interviews, and non-participatory observations. The research method was implemented through qualitative case studies, and data were analyzed, using inductive analysis. First, the experience of the instructor showed that the process of creating a physical education program at a girls' school, difficulty in teaching as a physical education teacher rather than an expert in physical education, and that they had no choice but to send the students to a private institute, as the teachers could not guide them until the entrance season. Second, the experiences of students and graduates showed the reason why they prepared for the physical education examination at schools, the meaning of the after-school physical education classes, the reason why they eventually choose a private institute, and the culture they experienced at private institutes. Third, for the areas of improvements in the after-school physical education programs, the teachers identified were increased class time, support and promotion by the Office of Education, and the areas of improvements in the student's opinion were improvement in professional competency of instructors, providing various sports experience, purchasing equipment, increase in class time, and changing perception.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 여자고등학교에서 방과 후 체대 입시 프로그램을 지도한 교사와 참여 학생의 경험을 분석하여 여자고등학교 방과 후 체대 입시 프로그램의 운영과정, 특징, 개선점을 알아보고 이를 통해 공교육에서의 체육 계열 진학지도 활성화 방안에 대한 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 유목적 표집법으로 선정한 사랑여자고등학교 체육 교사 2명과 재학생 4명, 졸업생 2명을 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 자료 수집은 문서자료, 심층 면담, 비참여관찰을 통해 이루어졌다. 연구 방법은 질적 사례연구를 통해서 진행되었으며 귀납적 분석을 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 지도 교사의 경험을 살펴본 결과 여학교에 체대 입시 프로그램을 만들기까지의 과정, 쉽지 않은 여학생 지도, 체대 입시 전문가가 아닌 체육 교사로서 진학지도의 어려움, 입시 시즌까지 진학지도가 이루어지지 못하고 결국 학원으로 보낼 수밖에 없는 현실의 결과가 나타났다. 둘째, 재학생과 졸업생의 경험은 학교에서 체대 입시를 준비하는 이유, 여학교 방과 후 체대 입시반의 의미, 결국 학원을 선택하는 이유, 사설 학원에서 경험한 사설 학원의 문화로 나타났다. 셋째, 개선점으로 교사가 생각하는 방과 후 체대 입시 프로그램의 개선점은 수업시간 증대, 교육청의 지원과 홍보, 학교 차원의 지원으로 나타났으며 학생이 생각하는 개선점은 지도 교사의 전문성 향상, 다양한 종목 경험, 입시 시즌까지 유지, 장비 구매, 수업시간 증대, 체대 입시 인원만 집중 지도, 인식 변화로 나타났다.
