첫째, 발달장애인부모의 일반적 특성에 따른 직업재활 서비스의 인식은 성별의 경우 모든 인식영역에서 여자보다 남자의 인식이 높게 나타났으며, 연령별에 따른 인식은 직업 및 훈련교사 인식을 제외한 영역에서 40대보다 50대에서 높게 나타났다. 또한 학력에 따른 인식은 기관인식과 직업훈련 교사 인식에서 전문대졸 부모보다 중고졸부모들 인식 율이 더욱 높았으며, 가족의 주 소득원에 따른 인식은 서비스 인식과 직업 및 훈련교사 인식에서 본인보다 아버지들에게서 인식율이 더욱 높게 나타났다. 자녀의 동거인에 따른 기관에 따른 인식에서는 기타가 가장 높았으며 마지막으로 장애유형등급에 따른 인식차이 검증에서는 유의미한 결과가 나타나지 않았다.
