다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose: The aim of this study is to survey the perceptions on evaluation of acquired apraxia of speech (AOS) in speech language pathologists (SLP) and professors. Methods: The study was conducted using an online questionnaire to 64 respondents; 48 SLPs who work in various settings and 16 professors who are with the department of speech-language pathology in universities (undergraduate/graduate programs). The survey consisted of two parts: 1) background information and educational/clinical experiences that are associated with AOS, 2) the current state and perception of diagnosis on AOS. Each item of the survey was responded to by the respondents via self-reported answers. Results: In terms of the manner of evaluation in clinical settings, auditory- and visuo-perceptual evaluation (77.1%) and acoustic evaluation using acoustic analysis were utilized. In diagnostic criteria of AOS, 42.4% of respondents referred to Korean normative data of speech performance (e.g., articulation rate from diadochokinetic tasks), and 40.2% of respondents referred to diagnostic criteria developed by the respondent using theoretical background and clinical experiences. 52% of respondents wanted Korean standardized assessment tools for AOS. 92% of respondents hope for diagnostic criteria for AOS provided by the Korean association. Conclusions: These preliminary results might be the groundwork for introducing and establishing diagnostic guidelines and assessment tools for AOS.

배경 및 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라의 임상현장에서 실제적으로 말실행증 환자를 접하고 있는 언어재활사와 관련 교육전문가를 대상으로 말실행증 진단과 관련한 기초적인 정보를 확...

배경 및 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라의 임상현장에서 실제적으로 말실행증 환자를 접하고 있는 언어재활사와 관련 교육전문가를 대상으로 말실행증 진단과 관련한 기초적인 정보를 확인하고, 진단에 대한 인식과 실태를 조사하고자 한다. 방법: 신경말언어장애 분야에서 임상 경험이 있는 언어재활사 48명과 신경말언어장애를 전공하고 강의하고 있는 교육전문가 16명, 총 64명을 대상으로 말실행증 진단에 관한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 구성은 두 영역으로 이루어졌으며, 첫 번째는 조사 대상에 대한 기본정보 및 말실행증 관련 경험/배경지식에 대한 내용으로, 두 번째는 진단 현황 및 진단기준에 대한 인식을 확인하였다. 결과: 현재 임상에서 사용되고 있는 말실행증 평가 방식은 청각 및 시각을 활용한 지각적 방법(77.1%)이 우선적으로 선호되며 더불어 기기평가가 활용되는 것으로 조사되었다. 말실행증 환자를 진단하기 위해 사용되고 있는 구체적인 기준 및 척도를 확인한 결과, 국내 정상인을 대상으로 산출된 결과(예; 길항운동 과제의 조음속도)의 평균과 표준편차를 사용하는 비율(42.4%)이 가장 높았고, 그 다음은 스스로 만든 진단 기준의 적용(40.2%)이었다. 말실행증 진단 도구나 규준에 대한 요구를 확인한 결과, 과반수 이상의 대상자들은 말실행증 진단을 위한 국내 도구의 개발의 필요성을 인식하고 있었으며, 92.2%의 응답자는 협회 또는 학회 차원에서 국내 말실행증 진단을 위한 가이드라인이 마련되기를 기대하고 있었다. 논의 및 결론: 본 예비연구는 추후 국내 말실행증 환자의 통일된 진단기준을 정립하고 진단도구를 개발하는데 있어 기초 자료로 활용될 것이라 기대한다.
