A Study on Nine-Star Astrology

Humans live in given environments. Though the environments seem to be chaotic due to irregularity, under the conditions of the essence, by decided order and rules, flows of the society are made and flows of people’s destinies are continued. At present, because this is an era of cutting-edge science, it is flooded with new knowledge and information in all parts. Even modern people are curious about good or ill luck of the present and future and need astrology. But, astrology as one of “fortunetelling” tends not to get trust and belief from people since fortunetelling has not been investigated systematically and scientifically. In order to improve the imperfect result scientifically, it was necessary that fortunetelling was demonstrated by empirical science through metaphysics with theoretical systems of Nine-Star Astrology as one of fortunetelling. Nine-Star Astrology has its origins in Hetu-Luoshu of the “Book of Changes” and means to interpret states of the past, present, and future about the phenomena of flows of time like dates (years, months, days, and hours) and space by displaying the Eight Trigrams for Divination, Ten Calendar Signs, and Twelve Zodiac Signs at Nine Places and Nine Stars. The astrology was derived from Qimendunjia and is more preceding learning than Nine Places. However, as it was adopted late in Korea, it is not popular and low in the distribution rate. Nonetheless, the power is stronger than any astrology and the utilization values are high. It is just to interpret a fixed arranged Diagram without changes of time, places, and physical and mental conditions of a person directly concerned. The astrology interprets states of a person, matter, nature, group, nation, time, and space according to the utilization. The utilization values can be divided into three largely such as Nine-Star Ming Study to interpret the innate destiny of a person in accordance with the date of birth, Nine-Star Divination Study to tell a person’s destiny by combining the consciousness of the person and the energy states of time and space so as to solve questions about the works of the present and future, and Nine-Star Direction Study to move into a good direction by finding the lucky direction from avoiding an unlucky direction through judging energy states existing in nine-star directions according to time and place or to carve out a person’s fortune through the method of changing the person’s destiny in that direction. Nine-Star Astrology is very simple and clear. To extract correct result, ability to investigate one’s destiny with accurate inference even to detailed parts with deep knowledge and insight is required. If one’s destiny is not examined exactly even to small details, other result can be extracted. To prove correct and firm result about it, if posture and exploration to study constantly go on, there is no doubt that the astrology will be settled as good learning backing on track in academic circles. In the future, it is thought that it will be greatly activated by becoming widespread.
