미세먼지 위험에 대한 공중들의 정보탐색과 처리에 대한 연구: 인지된 정보 수집 능력, 언론 정보원 신뢰, 책임 귀인과 경험 정도의 조절 효과 분석 = A Study on the Environmental Risk Information Seeking and Processing Model about Particulate Matter: Focusing on the Moderating Effects of China Attribution, Health Symptom Experience, Perceived Information Capacity, and Relevant Channel Beliefs

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine how the public seeks and processes risk information about particulate matter and investigate differences between groups which are classified by the level of China attribution and health symptom experience. The Risk Information Seeking and Processing (RISP) Model was adopted to test the research questions. The study results show that the effects of information sufficiency does not have a major effect on the information seeking and processing in the case of particulate matter risk. Even though the survey participants perceive information insufficiency about particulate matter, they do not tend to seek information actively or process information systematically to understand particulate matter risk. Also, the effects of information sufficiency differ depending on the moderating variables. Theoretical and practical implications based on the research results were discussed.
