장애청소년어머니의 양육스트레스와 관련변인이 삶의 만족도와 우울에 미치는 영향 = An impact of the parental stress and related variables of disabled adolescents' mothers on their life satisfaction and depression.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 장애청소년의 주 양육자인 어머니의 양육스트레스와 관련요인을 분석하고, 이러한 요인들이 어머니가 인지하는 사회적 지지, 양육스트레스를 통해 직접적, 간접적으로 어머니의 삶의 만족도와 우울에 미치는 영향과 경로를 파악하고자, 대구 · 경북 지역에 거주하는 208명의 장애청소년 어머니를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 다양한 변인 중 청소년의 장애정도와 어머니의 건강상태가 어머니의 양육스트레스에 영향을 미치는 주요변인으로 나타났다. 이 두 변인이 어머니의 사회적 지지와 양육스트레스 및 어머니의 삶의 만족도와 우울에 미치는 직 · 간접적 영향을 파악하기 위해, 경로분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 청소년의 장애정도는 어머니의 삶의 만족도와 우울에 직접적 영향력을 가지지는 않으나, 어머니가 인지하는 사회적 지지와 양육스트레스를 통해 간접적 효과를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 반면, 어머니의 건강상태는 어머니의 삶의 만족도와 우울에 직접적 영향을 미치며, 동시에 사회적 지지와 양육스트레스를 통해 간접적 영향력을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 본 연구 결과를 기초로 장애청소년 가족을 대상으로 하는 실천적, 이론적 함의와 후속연구의 방향을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to analyze parental stress process of mothers of adolescents with disability. The data were collected from 208 mothers of adolescents with disability who reside in Daegu and Kyungbook province by utilizing self-administered questionnaire.
The result of the study indicated that kids' disabled level and mothers' health status were the most important variables in explaining mothers' parental stress among other various variables proposed by literature review. The disabled level showed no direct impact on mothers' perceived level of life satisfaction and depression, however, it clearly had impact on life satisfaction and depression through parental stress and social support. On the other hand, mothers' health status had both direct and indirect impact on mothers' perceived life satisfaction and depression. Based on the analysis of the study, possible social work practice implications were provided and further study was implied
