한국 대학생 진로적응반응도구(K-SCCI) 타당화 연구 = Validation of the Korean Version of Student Career Construction Inventory for Korean University Students

The purpose of this study was to validate the Korean version of Student Career Construction Inventory(K-SCCI) developed by Savickas, Porfeli, Hilton and Savickas(2018) and to find out the characteristics of career adapting of university students in Korea. The preliminary and main surveys were conducted for university students in Korea. As a result of the reliability and validity tests through the preliminary survey, 4-factor model was identified according to the factor structure of the original scale (1) crystallizing a vocational self-concept, 2) exploring to gather information about occupations, 3) deciding to commit to an occupational choice, 4) preparing to implement that choice. The main survey was conducted with 17 items(after reviewing through the confirmatory factor analysis, one item which was divided into ‘preparing’ not ‘deciding’ was deleted). As a result of the main survey, construct validity has been verified by the confirmatory factor analysis. And criterion-related validity has been verified by the correlation between CMI(Career Maturity Inventory), CAAS(Career Adapt-Ability Scale), and VISA(Vocational Identity Status Assessment). While Korean students had a high proportion of ‘deciding’, American students had a high proportion of ‘crystallizing’ in career adapting. This can be interpreted as a result of the cultural differences between the two countries’ career development processes. Finally, the significance of this study and some recommendations were discussed based on the results of the study.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 Savickas, Porfeli, Hilton과 Savickas(2018)가 개발한 학생진로구성도구(SCCI)를 한국어로 번안하여 타당화하고, 우리나라 대학생의 진로적응반응 특성을 구명하는 데 있었다. 이를 위해 기존 도구를 한국어로 번안한 후, 국내 4년제 대학생을 대상으로 예비조사와 본조사를 2차에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 예비조사를 통한 도구의 신뢰도와 타당도 검증 결과, 원 도구의 요인구조에 따라 ‘직업적 자아 개념을 명료화하기’ ‘직업에 대한 정보를 수집하기 위하여 탐색하기’, ‘직업 선택에 전념하기로 결정하기’, ‘직업 선택을 실행하기 위한 준비하기’의 4가지 요인으로 구조화되었다. 다만, ‘결정하기’ 구인 중 1개 문항이 ‘준비하기’로 구분되어 확인적 요인분석을 통해 재검토한 후, 이를 삭제한 17개 문항의 4개 요인 모형으로 본조사를 실시하였다. 본 조사 결과 확인적 요인분석을 활용한 구성타당화가 검증되었으며, 진로성숙도, 진로적응력, 진로정체감과의 상관분석을 통해 준거타당화도 검증되었다. 이와 함께 진로적응반응을 설명하는데 있어 미국 대학생들은 ‘명료화하기’의 비중이 높았던 반면, 한국 대학생들은 ‘결정하기’의 비중이 높게 나타난 점 등 국가별 진로개발과정의 문화적 차이를 발견할 수 있었다. 끝으로, 연구 결과를 토대로 연구의 의의, 제한점 등을 논의하였다.
