자동화와 연결의 시대 일의 교육 연구를 위한 행위자—관계망 이론의 적용 가능성 탐색 = Implications of Actor-Network Theory (ANT) for Research on Education of Work in the Era of Automation and Connectivity

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 자동화와 연결의 시대에 변화하고 있는 일의 교육을 기술하고 해석하기 위한 관점으로서 행위자—관계망 이론(Actor-Network Theory, ANT)이 가진 유용성을 제시하고자 한다. 이에 이 연구는 ANT의 주요 개념과 관점을 소개하고, 관계론적 확장이라는 접근법을 중심으로 일의 교육 연구에 있어 ANT가 가진 시사점과 적용 방안을 모색하였다. 먼저, ANT의 핵심 개념인 행위자—관계망, 인간과 비인간의 행위 능력을 동등한 위치에 놓는 대칭성, 현상의 변화 과정을 설명하는 번역과 번역 과정의 의미를 개관하였다. 나아가, ‘ANT와 그 후(After-ANT)’의 논의를 소개함으로써 ANT의 적용이란 ANT의 용어 자체에 연연하기보다, ANT적 세계관을 연구의 대상이 되는 현상을 기술하는데 적용하는 것임을 밝혔다. 그 후, ANT가 일의 교육에서 사용되던 관계론적 접근이 가진 한계를 극복하는 데 도움이 될 수 있으며, 관계론의 해석력을 더욱 확장하는 차원에서 활용될 수 있음을 논의하였다. 그러나 ANT 논의가 가진 모호함과 난해함으로 인해 ANT적 관점을 연구에 반영하는 것은 여전히 어려운 과제이다. 이에 앞선 연구의 시도와 연구방법론에 대한 논의를 소개함으로써 ANT의 접근성을 높이고자 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to present the implications of the actor-network theory (ANT) as a perspective for describing and interpreting the education of work, which is facing numerous changes during the era of automation and connectivity. The researchers introduce the main concepts and aspects of ANT and explicate its implications for expanding the explicability of relational approaches in the research on education of work. The meanings of the key ANT concepts, that are ‘actor,’ ‘network,’ ‘translation’ and ‘symmetry’ are explained. Further, the researchers introduce ‘After-ANT approaches to delineate that adopting ANT perspective is not merely adopting the terms of ANT, but utilizing the perspective to describe and critically analyze the subject phenomena. The following section discusses and asserts that ANT can provide insights to expand the implications of the relational approach further. However, due to ANT s ambiguity and difficulty, it remains challenging to adopt the ANT perspective in research. This article attempts to improve the accessibility of ANT by introducing empirical studies that applied ANT in the themes in the education of work. Discussion on methodology follows.
