The purpose of this research is to investigate stressor and stress coping strategies of adolescence.
Stress coping is viewed as a stabilizing factor that they help individuals maintain psychological adaptation during stressful periods. Adolescence cope with everyday stress and their coping approaches are influence by situational constraints and cognitive development.
There are four types of strategies which adolescence copes to stress; problem-focused, emotional focused, stress-inoculation traning, and social support.
First, Problem-focused coping strategies is efforts to modify the source of stress. The proportion of problem-focused coping relative to total coping efforts associated with reduced depression.
Second, Emotion-focused coping strategies is attempts to regulate the emotional distress caused by the stressor.
Third, Stress-inoculation training is to ensure that adolescence sturdy feelings of competence based on their success in identifying and dealing with many different stressor.
Finally, Social-support is to mitigrate or buffer the adverse consequences of life event stress.
Social-Support include, self-esteem support, appraisal support, belonging support and tangible support.
This research has been performed, in those points of view, to analyze the characteristics and contrived elements of 9 diagonis models of learning styles which had been developed and to present the materials for educators to use in teaching process and for the research.
Learning styles of students are the important variables to achieve the individualized instruction in schools, but they should be regarded as the targets of a continuous challenge rather than a burden to educators.
