    This study aims to examine the whole brain activation states through cross correlations of autonomic nerve activation and electroencephalogram in ``Jangsaeng walking`` and ``general walking`` with 40 general women between their thirties and fifties. 20 of 40 selected women were assigned to experimental group and 20 others to control group and experimental group conducted Jangsaeng Walking for 30 min. Brain wave was measured after completing Jangsaeng walking training for 8 weeks and in stability and walking for five minutes respectively. Electrode was attached to measured parts such as Fp1, Fp2, F3, F4, T3, T4, P3 and P4 by International 10/20 electrode system and cross correlation analysis were conducted. Autonomic nerve activation rates using electrocardiogram were measured by three times first in stability, second in walking and third in stability for five minutes respectively with measurement of brain wave. As a result of analyzing cross correlation coefficient, there were remarkable differences in alpha wave and gamma wave. Alpha wave showed significant increase in 22 of total 28 electrode pairs and comparison group showed significant decrease in 17 electrode pairs. Gamma wave showed significant increase in all 28 electrode pairs and comparison group showed significant increase in 9 electrode pairs. As a result of analyzing activation rates of sympathetic nerve and parasympathetic nerve, experimental group showed significant increase of sympathetic nerve rate in walking compared to comparison group and stability after walking showed radical decrease of sympathetic nerve. It was found from these results that Jangsaeng walking induced the whole and efficient brain activation from frontal lobe to parietal lobe and autonomic reaction was strengthened by efficient antagonism of sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves. Therefore, it was suggested that Jangsaeng walking training can be used as a great method of conscious health improvement not simple movement means.
