      This paper is a summary of the main contents of “Easy-to understand statute project, the study of Korean maritime law”, performed by Korea Maritime Law Association in 2011. This study modified long and complex sentences of Korean maritime law to simple and clear sentences. It also revised Chinese and Japanese characters and professional terms of statute into easy-to-understand words. Further, regarding the part of beyond the scope of this study but required revision due to a legislative errata, it has been proposed to be reviewed at a future law reform work. In this paper, the writer review this part in addition and suggest the improvement thereon.
