국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문의 목적은 김정일의 『주체문학론』 발간 이후, 북한시의 흐름을 총체적으로 살펴보는 데 있다. 김정일의 『주체문학론』과 이를 바탕으로 창작된 작품들은 궁극적으로 북한 문학의 오래된 `전통`인 당의 공식적인 지배 이데올로기를 재생하는, 일종의 체제 종속적 문학 담론의 연장선상에 놓여 있는 것으로 판단된다. 단지, 오늘날의 북한문예창작이론의 전통은 `주체문학론`이라는 이름으로 새롭게 호명될 뿐이다. 한편, 90년대 북한의 주요 정책들은 체제종속적인 북한 문예의 성격상, 이 시기 문예이론과 창작방법론에 적극적으로 수용된다. 이 무렵의 북한문학은 `붉은기 사상`, `고난의 행군`, `강성대국과 선국정치` 등 각각의 정치적 과제에 민감하게 반응하며, 이것들을 주제로 한 작품들이 주를 이룬다. 특히 90년대 후반기부터는 `선군정치`가 북한의 핵심정치 이념으로 제기되는 까닭에 선군정치의 시대정신을 형상화하는 작품들이 속출한다. 현재 북한에서 선군정치는 <만능의 정치방식>으로 인식된다. 이에 따라 최근까지도 대부분의 북한 문학은 선군정치를 문학적으로 형상화한, 이른바 선군혁명문학을 표방하고 있다. 이는 정치적 이념과 미학적 실천을 동일시하는 북한 문학의 특성을 뚜렷하게 보여준다고 하겠다. 아울러 북한문학의 오래된 주제인 김일성 부자 우상화 작업과 반제반미의 문학적 표출 양상도 이 시기 들어 한층 강화되어 나타난다. 이는 "선군정치시대"의 북한 문학에 나타나는 주목할 만한 현상이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this thesis is to gain wide picture of the stream of North Korean Poems after the publication of Kim Jung-il`s `Juche Literary Theory`. The `Juche Literary Theory` published on 1992 functioned as textbook for the creative writing of North Korea until these days. This fact is confirmed by the pieces from North Korean magazine <Joseon Literature> that follows the creative standards proposed in `Juche Literary Theory`. Even though slightly different depend on time and matter, it primarily operates as a ideological weapon against imperialism and the United States or a strong tool for maintenance of Kim Il-sung and his son`s power and North Korean socialism system focused on the party, people and leader. Therefore the works based on `Juche Literary Theory` are laid upon the prolongation of North Korean literature tradition that reproduces the ideology of the Communists. This tradition of creative writing of North Korea, that is, literature depended on socialism recently called as `Juche Literary Theory`. On the other hand, creative writing and literature theory accepted the principal policies of 1990`s. In this period, the main stream of North Korean literature sensitively deals with political issue, namely `Red Flag Phenomenon`, `Marching of Hardship`, `Big Country and Songun Policy` and so forth. Especially, from the 90`s, a series of works emerged that formalize the spirit of the age, `Songun Policy`, as it became the North Korean`s principal political issue. So to speak, `Songun Policy` is the North Korean national management system of military first politics that insist on the succession of predecessor`s revolutionary achievement. Around 1998, the North Korea formally announced `Songun Policy` for the inside and outside of the country. Nowadays, `Songun Policy` is regarded as <Almighty Political Method> and thus most of the North Korean literature claims the literature of Songun revolution that literarily formalize `Songun Policy` until late. This shows the specific character of the North Korean literature that regards political belief as aesthetic practice. In addition, time-honored subject of the North Korean literature, Kim Il-sung and his son`s idolization, anti- imperialism and anti- America are strengthened in the time span. That is a significant phenomenon of the North Korean literature in the period of Songun Policy.
