      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      As there are consecutive powerful earthquakes in Circum-Pacific belt, an awareness that South Korea also was not a safe space of earthquake any more has been on the increase. In fact, South Korea had 39 earthquakes in August this year and the number of earthquakes has increased in comparison with the past. Therefore, mid/low-rise buildings that were built before buildings have seismic design codes were needed to seismic retrofit. Especially, the majority of domestic buildings before 1986 were not built properly with seismic retrofit. When an earthquake hits, it is expected to have huge damage. In this study, 2-Story 1-Bay of test frames was made with MDF(Medium Density Fiberboard) and then seismic retrofit was conducted. The shaking table test was tested using Seismic wave, El Centro NS earthquake. Compared the result of experiments to theoretical analysis and computational analysis using OpenSees, seismic performance evaluation of test frames was carried by those results.

In fact, South Korea had 39 earthquakes in August this year and the number of earthquakes has increased in comparison with the past.
